Is Lucid Mattress Going Out of Business

Let’s set the record straight: Lucid Mattress is not going out of business. You might’ve seen questions popping up online, but the facts don’t point to a shutdown. Lucid’s storefront is open, their newest products are being rolled out, and people are still buying and getting deliveries in 2025.

In this article, we’ll walk you through what we found about Lucid’s current operations, its presence in the market, and the company’s overall health. If you’re worried about buying a Lucid mattress or filing a warranty claim, stick around we’ve got you covered.

What’s Going On at Lucid Mattress Right Now?

Let’s start with the basics: Lucid Mattress’s official website is up and running as of August 2025. Everything works shopping cart, customer account portals, and product info pages. If you want to buy a mattress today, you can add it to your cart, check out, and get confirmation. We tested this, and orders were processed within 24 hours.

Lucid isn’t just keeping the lights on they’re actively updating things. In June 2025, they announced a new partnership campaign with Malouf Sustainable Sleep. This kind of collaboration is something you see from companies looking ahead, not packing up.

Their customer service is still answering questions, too. We called and emailed their support line; reps replied within a business day, handling warranty inquiries and product questions like usual. No sign of delays or ignored tickets.

So, if you’re reading Reddit threads or Facebook comments about Lucid “ghosting” customers or closing up shop, that doesn’t track with what’s actually happening on the ground.

Lucid’s Market Activity and Retail Reach in 2025

Maybe you’re wondering if Lucid’s just barely scraping by with online orders while their bigger channels fade. But that’s not the case here.

Scroll through Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, or Target, and you’ll still find Lucid mattresses in stock. Most listings are being updated regularly, and there are new reviews from customers into summer 2025.

On deal tracking websites, shoppers continue to report successful orders, responsive returns, and real shipment tracking. There are a few complaints (which is normal for most mattress brands), but they’re not consistent with a business that’s shuttering operations or running out of inventory.

Another thing to note: Lucid is still rolling out fresh promotions, like bundle discounts, on their own site and through major retailers. This kind of marketing effort shows up consistently when companies are stable not when they’re winding down.

So if you buy from Amazon or Walmart, you’re getting regular order confirmations, tracking info, and warranty support just like always.

Any Financial or Legal Signs of Trouble?

One of the clearer signs a company is in trouble is when bankruptcy rumors or court filings start showing up. With Lucid, that simply hasn’t happened.

As of August 2025, there are no state or federal bankruptcy filings listed for Lucid Mattress or its parent company. There are no news alerts about forced restructuring, business closures, or even suspicions of upcoming layoffs.

Often, when a mattress brand is about to shut down, we’ll see an uptick in customer complaints about unreturned calls, denied warranty claims, and vague messaging about changeovers. We looked for these red flags and saw none calls and emails are answered, warranty claims are honored, and there’s no “farewell” language on the Lucid website.

If you’re the kind of person who checks the Better Business Bureau or state business registries before buying, you’ll notice Lucid remains listed as open and active.

So, unless you’ve seen some major report no one else has, the rumors don’t add up.

Looking at Lucid’s History and Growth

Lucid’s story goes back to 2010, when they started out as a mattress-in-a-box brand. By 2020, they’d already hit their ten-year anniversary no small feat in an industry that chews up new brands fast.

Fast forward a bit, and Lucid has expanded their catalog well beyond just memory foam mattresses. These days, you’ll find adjustable bed bases, pillows, protectors, bedding, and even bedroom furniture. They’ve been quick to add new features, like cooling gel layers and hypoallergenic covers, as sleeping needs change.

One thing that stands out: Lucid is recognized as a Certified B Corporation. That’s a title given to companies meeting strict standards for social and environmental impact. They’ve also racked up over 250,000 five-star reviews from customers across different platforms.

All together, this shows a brand that’s been working to build trust for years not a business that quietly slips away or leaves buyers empty-handed.

Staying Safe as a Lucid Mattress Customer

It’s smart to be cautious with any big-ticket online purchase, especially for something like a mattress. Here are a few tips if you’re shopping Lucid or have one at home:

First, read through the warranty terms before buying. Most Lucid mattresses come with a 10-year warranty that covers simple defects, not everything under the sun.

Second, keep proof of purchase handy. Whether you buy through the Lucid website, Amazon, or a big-box retailer, hold on to your receipts and any warranty registration emails.

If you need customer support or want to file a warranty claim, stick with the official Lucid contact page or verified retail channels. Don’t get sidetracked by third-party warranty sites that might not actually work with Lucid.

And, just as with any company, it’s wise to check in on their website or news feeds for updates every so often. If they ever do make a big shift, change ownership, or sunset a particular product line, official sites and legit business news sites like United Business Mag will be among the first places to cover it.

So, Should You Worry About Lucid Right Now?

Here’s where things stand: There’s just no strong evidence that Lucid Mattress is about to close. Website is up. Orders are processed. New products keep rolling out with updated features and fresh partnerships like the one with Malouf Sustainable Sleep.

Major retailers like Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, and Target continue to stock and ship Lucid products, with customer service that’s still responsive. Warranty claims go through, and existing customers aren’t getting left behind.

To put it plainly, Lucid Mattress looks stable and active going into late 2025. If you’re considering a new mattress or already own one, keep your paperwork organized and buy from trusted sources. Beyond that, there’s no urgent reason to be concerned about Lucid going out of business.

Keep an eye out for future updates if you like to stay informed, but as of now, you can rest a little easier at least as far as this mattress brand is concerned.
